OUR HISTORY
In 1993, Steve Harkey launched into small business ownership as an electrical contractor. Already a licensed electrician, and working locally, Mr. Harkey gained in experience and reputation.
Growth was constant and steady in those first years. In 1997 Harkey Electric Inc. was incorporated, and due to increasing capabilities, was soon able to attract larger and more complex jobs. Other experienced electricians, helpers and office staff, as well as the latest equipment, were added. A new facility with office and warehouse space was built to respond to the expanding business. The sale and service of generators for both homes and commercial properties were added to the product mix.
Today Harkey Electric Inc. is the emerging leader for commercial, industrial and residential electrical installation and service.
